. >> jackson square a feast for the senses. the sounds, colors and textures pull you in take you to another place. >> the arts are wonderful so much fun unique to the city. it's a great time. come down you really get to meet the artists see them working. it's fabulous. oo behind eep of these artists is a story for painter rick fox it's a story of rebirth. he chooses to make something beautiful from tattered debris left my devastating hurricane. >> this painting is a branch from the banks of the mississippi river. what you are looking at here is a child's desk top. you are looking at tar from a house in tremain. a lot of items i find are really tattered and i do reconstruction to save the item. going through storms and the hardship, it's similar to our lives. we have to piece it back together no matter what the damage is. >> the positive vibe comes from new orleans like a catchy tune it stays with you. >> it seems like a celebration of life here. always up beat. never gloomy in new orleans. everybody is having a good time. >> wb
